Gaby’s Restaurant is a must‑try in Puerto Vallarta. The food is rich, authentic Mexican cuisine with flavors that feel homemade and elevated at the same time. Every dish comes out beautifully seasoned — the mole, the enchiladas, the fresh guacamole, all unforgettable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like family.  Verificada Great Food & Cooking Classes!
We not only visited the restaurant this trip, but we also took Chef Julio's cooking class later that week. Both were amazing experiences. The food both for dinner and what we prepared during the class was terrific. As part of the class he takes you through various markets in Old Town which was a side of PV we don't see and it was great to experience. We look forward to going back. This restaurant is consistently great! The atmosphere and food is exceptional! We had their chicken chimichangas and mango margaritas. We enjoyed their fresh guacamole too. This is a restaurant you don't want to miss.

We really like Gaby’s restaurant. The food is wonderful and the location is great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Hubby had the chicken mole and I have the Baja style fish tacos. Both were excellent. We also had guacamole and 2 drinks. Total with tip was $48.

6 of us did the Gaby's cooking class and it was the absolute best experience. It was great going to the local market to shop for everything we were going to cook with. We went back to the restaurant and made all kinds of salsa, ceveche, chicken mole and Chile releno. The staff, Dulce and Aldo, were so fun to interact. It was a great day!

Amazing cooking class! My friend and I absolutely loved the cooking class! It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We had such a great time learning about the history of Puerto Vallarta and the restaurant. We really enjoyed going to the markets and being able to pick out fresh produce and other foods for the meal. and we especially enjoyed the overall hands-on experience and how delicious all of the food was! Another huge plus was the variety of things we learned to make… A lot more than any of the other cooking classes I looked up. Chef Julio was so informative and great to work with. His sous chef, Aldo was an absolute delight! We learned so much from both of them about the food, recipes, and other details. I highly recommend taking this class. I'm so excited to go home and put on an amazing Mexican dinner for my family!

 Verificada Fantastic Cooking Experience!
A friend and I took a cooking class today with Chef Julio and his sous chef Aldo. Such a great experience and well worth the price! We loved the history lesson, the walking tour, the food preparation, and of course the food eating!! So many yummy dishes to try! Going to the market to pick out the ingredients made the experience even more enjoyable and created a better connection with the food we made. Chef Julio has created delicious recipes. So fun to help make the magic happen! Aldo is a gem and kept everything running smoothly in the background with various food prep tasks that helped make our job easier and came behind and washed so many dishes! Both Chef Julio and Aldo are personable and a joy to know. Highly recommend the experience!
